We live as long as we fly

Interlude - while I write about the USA

My friend  - a fake punk and anarchist (let's try not to typo that as antichrist) lives in a world of his fantasies, which have little in common with the real world. He has a poor grasp of how capitalism works, the economy, what people want and what they are capable of, and he doesn't want to know anyway. Knowledge would get in the way of his sincere dislike for the "plebs" around him, dreaming of magic castles, and living in a cozy world of daydreams.

And just so I'm not making empty claims, I'll give an example. One time we noticed a cat that had a cardboard cone tied around its neck. My friend immediately started getting outraged at such a terrible abuse of our fellow creature and talking about what trash everyone is. I told him that he always reacts like this - jumping to hasty conclusions without looking into the matter.  Maybe the cat wasn't being abused at all, but rather   quite the opposite. To which my friend replied that it's "already obvious" to him and there's nothing to look into. A great stance for preserving your illusions and sick views of the world, I won't argue.

But I thought about it a little bit more, then called my mom and found out that cats get a cone put on their necks when they're sick so they don't lick the medication off their wounds.
